Change the SMTP Settings in Outlook

Setting up E-MailChange your outgoing smtp mail server in Microsoft Outlook

1. Once you have Microsoft Outlook open click on tools
2. In the drop down window that opens select email accounts (2003)
3. In the drop down window that opens select accounts settings (2007)
4. In the next window that opens if you choose email accounts in step 2
5. On the next window that opens select next
6. In the next window that opens if you choose account settings in step 3
7. Then double click on the name on top
8. In the next window that opens
9. If you are on a @yourowndomain.co.za  then under Outgoing Server(SMTP) change it to smtp.internet.co.za
10. If you are on a @telkomsa.net or @adsl.s account then under Outgoing Server(SMTP) change it to smtp.saix.net , smtp.mweb.co.za ect
11. Once changed click on next then on finish
12. When you’re back on the main screen click on send and receive
